UKLPG’s new chief executive, Peter Westwood, has taken up his role at the association replacing Rob Shuttleworth, who has left after 12 years in the role.
Peter said: “One of my first actions will be to get out and meet UKLPG members to understand their thoughts and listen to their ideas on the future direction of the industry. My aim is to build on the great work done to date and to make the trade association even more visible and more dynamic than it is today through greater engagement with members, the government and other stakeholders.
“I am really looking forward to working with the UKLPG Board to take the organisation to the next stage in response to the government’s clean growth agenda.”
