Wigan & Leigh College has launched its newly refurbished Gas Centre at the Centre of Excellence in Engineering at the Pagefield Centre in Wigan, Greater Manchester.
The College is inviting plumbers and gas engineers to a breakfast event from 8:00 am until 10.00am on Friday 27 September to view the new facilities and find out more about courses and assessments.
Expert tutors with years of industry experience will be on hand to show off new specialist facilities. £1.8million was recently invested into upgrading facilities and resources at the Centre of Excellence in Engineering to replicate modern real working environments.
The College offers a range of gas and non-gas training courses which run throughout the year, including units such as Core Domestic Gas Safety, Central Heating and Water Heaters, Cooking Appliances, Fire and Wall Heaters and Domestic Gas Meters.
Head of construction at the College, Neil Campbell, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming more employers from industry to our new Gas Centre. Our competitive pricing, good transport links and first rate facilities make us an ideal option for those looking to update their qualifications to keep within the very latest health, safety and industry standards.”
