Specialist merchant Wolseley will be reopening its plumbing and heating branches on Saturdays following a temporary reduction in trading hours during the country’s lockdown period.
Until now, branches have been open from Monday to Friday. Wolseley will now return to its pre-lockdown opening hours from this weekend when branches will start trading from 8am to midday on Saturdays.
To ensure customers and colleagues are safe in branch, Wolseley has continued a number of safety measures.
Customers are asked to wear a face covering when visiting a branch and also use the hand sanitiser stations in the branch. In addition, clear Perspex screens have been added to the trade counters, it said.
Wolseley added that selected branches will remain closed, and installers were advised to their check with their local branch before visiting.
