Aqualisa has appointed Stuart Clark as head of new product development, who will lead the company’s product innovation strategy, and will be instrumental in expanding its reach into international markets.
With 16 years’ experience at Morphy Richards, where he most recently held the position of head of product innovation and quality assurance, Stuart was responsible for the development and launch of numerous award-winning consumer appliances.
He also managed strategic business partnerships, oversaw the introduction of a successful quality control programme, and was influential in the creation of a STEM education centre for disadvantaged children. With an extensive career in engineering and technology, his previous roles include operations manager at GTM Cars and design engineer at RDM Group.
At Aqualisa, Stuart will be focused on driving forward innovation, particularly in the smart bathroom category, and will spearhead the company’s new product development and sustainability strategies. He will collaborate closely with Aqualisa’s marketing and supply chain teams to devise and implement a long-term innovation roadmap that will extend the firm’s penetration into global markets. Stuart will head up a team of design engineers based at Aqualisa’s manufacturing facilities at Westerham, Kent.
He said: “As pioneers in the digital and smart shower category, I see enormous potential for Aqualisa to grow its leadership in this sector. I’ve always been impressed with the organisation’s reputation for quality and ground-breaking approach to product development, and I believe my experience in consumer technology will help to deliver its ambitious roadmap, particularly in the field of smart bathroom solutions.”
