Coolag, which is known across the UK for highly innovative plumbing products such as its versatile Alfie mountings for taps and shower valves, has launched a wall hung WC frame with concealed, slimline cistern unit.
At just 96mm thick, the cistern comes already mounted into the sturdy and adjustable frame for a truly space-saving solution, ideal for small washrooms and bathrooms or where the interior designer or installer is seeking that sleek, minimalist appearance. The telescopic frame legs are adjustable from 0–115mm before being locked solid by four bolts and concealed within the wall: which can be of timber, masonry or metal frame construction.
The flush pipe and soil connection remain fixed in relation to the mounting points for the WC bowl, with the whole installation being completed by tiling or other finishes, concealing the plumbing and leaving the floor below clear.
Coolag has considered other aspects also in designing its new wall-mounting frame: the cistern being acoustically insulated to reduce noise when flushed. Then from an environmental perspective, the smaller of the two flushing controls greatly reduces water consumption compared to conventional toilets. As a practical consideration in use, Coolag’s latest innovation ensures cleaning round the toilet area is far easier with all the workings hidden – making it highly suitable for schools, hospitals, hotels and other applications where hygiene is paramount.
Overall the adjustability of bowl height make the Coolag unit suitable for adaptive installations, perhaps suiting the very young or elderly and less able. Finally, Coolag’s five-year guarantee offers peace of mind for all concerned.
