Daikin has launched a ‘Climate Zone’ as venue sponsor of the newly opened 1,608 sq m BBC Earth Experience in Earls Court, London.
The zone will engage visitors with activities, games and artwork designed to engage children in sustainability, and how to reduce carbon footprints.
Invited guests found out more about sustainable air source heat pumps through a range of interactive digital tools and videos during a launch party last night.
Giulia Kapp, head of communications & marketing at Daikin UK, said: “It feels fantastic to bring The Daikin Climate Zone to life, and give people the space to engage with a low carbon vision of the future – one that is kinder to both the environment and your pocket.
“Through sponsoring the venue hosting the BBC Earth Experience, we have a fantastic opportunity to inspire visitors with our vision of creating a better world for future generations. Some may already understand the importance of reaching net zero at a national level, but perhaps don’t know they can play their part, simply by choosing a different way of heating and cooling their homes with a low or zero carbon system.
“We hope that by creating an accessible space for people to learn more about heat pumps, they can appreciate the benefits for themselves. I’d encourage anyone who is curious about reducing their environmental impact to come along and see how Daikin can provide low carbon solutions for every climate.”
