Stiebel Eltron UK has expanded its headquarters to further develop its training facilities, due to high demand from aspiring installers.
The move will further improve the company’s headquarters in Bromborough, Wirral, to increase capacity for its training programme.
Adding a 20,000 sq ft space, the expansion follows significant investment from Stiebel Eltron UK into its training programme in the past 12 months.
As well as providing an area to deliver comprehensive training, the new space will also be used to increase capacity for the storage of the company’s renewable energy products. Stiebel Eltron has said that this is to allow it to further meet demand for the supply of heat pumps to the UK market.
Last year, the company invested £350,000 into a new training facility. The company’s course, which first launched in November last year, has seen hundreds of aspiring installers learn their expertise and is set to see a further 570 trained in the coming months.
With the new training area expected to be finalised in the coming year, the move forms part of Stiebel Eltron UK’s commitment to grow the UK’s heat pump market, it added.
