Navien UK has appointed Graham Parkes as commercial director to support its growth plans as the company celebrates its 10th year in the UK market.
Having started his career as an engineering apprentice at British Gas, Graham went on to become a commercial development manager before moving on to start his own business, working both in-house and as a consultant for the likes of Baxi, Vaillant Group and Glow Worm.
Graham said: “I’m eager to be joining Navien UK at such a challenging yet exciting time for the industry, as there’s no better time to get involved to support the growth of the company.
“With new developments in technology and everchanging regulations, Navien is in a prime position to bring its product development to the market and I’m looking forward to sharing some of these with our customers later this year.”
A statement said that Graham played an important role in helping the manufacturer get settled in the UK market when he joined the team in-house as sales and marketing director in 2015.
Graham continued: “I’m delighted to be back working with the well-established team here, who are backed by a range of products and cutting-edge technology, to help drive the business forward. Every day is a day of opportunity and Navien has everything to gain.”
Sean Keleher, Navien UK’s technical director, added: “Graham’s extensive experience in the heating and plumbing industry will be a welcomed addition to the team as we look to expand our product and service offering in the market.
“His history working with renewable technology will be of added value as we seek to bring the industry into a new era of heating and hot water solutions.”
