Ideal Heating and Heat Pump Installer Network (HPIN) have teamed up to launch the Ideal Heat Pump Expert scheme.
According to a statement, the scheme aims to take the hassle out of installing heart pumps and enable installers to increase their income and future-proof their business, at zero cost.
The partnership makes the heat pumps market more accessible to installers, it noted, through a simple process covering everything from training, to paperwork, to payment.
The Ideal Heat Pump Expert scheme provides a simple solution to begin heat pump installations and also takes care of Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) registration, the statement added.
Mark Derbyshire, managing director of domestic products at Groupe Atlantic UK, Republic of Ireland and North America, parent company of Ideal Heating, said: “This partnership is a major move for the UK heating industry, as it will play a very significant role in supporting gas boiler installers to access the rapidly-growing heat pumps market.
“Together with HPIN, we’ll be helping installers every step of the way in their journey to become Ideal Heat Pump Experts. This builds on our very strong relationship with the installer community and our deep understanding of the challenges they face as the heating market changes.
“It’s another huge statement of our commitment to helping boiler installers make the transition to become low carbon heating engineers and connect them to a steady stream of new work.”
The partnership will enable installers to earn between £2,500 and £5,000 per job when installing a heat pump through Ideal Heating and HPIN, it cited. They can also earn £150 for each technical assessment and an additional £500 bonus if the installation is for a customer the installer referred.
HPIN is joining Ideal Heating to promote the Ideal Heat Pump Expert scheme on the manufacturer’s stand at the Installer Show at the NEC, Birmingham, from June 25 to 27.
