Knipex has launched three news products following its KNIPEXperience event staged for installers in London last month, pictured.
It has released the TubiX S Pipe Cutter, StepCut XL cable shears and new stripping knife.
The KNIPEX TubiX pipe cutter is now also available in an ‘S’ version for pipes with a diameter of 3 to 30 millimetres. The pocket-sized tool is equipped with the QuickLock one-hand quick fastening system and can cut stainless steel.
The cutting circle of the TubiX S has been significantly minimised compared to conventional pipe cutters, so that precise work can be carried out even in the tightest of spaces, the company explained.
Its StepCut XL cable shears mean even large-diameter stranded cables can now be cut, with a front cutting edge for step-by-step cutting and a stepped main cutting edge enabling ‘a significant reduction in the effort required’.
An anti-pinch guard also prevents injuries, as the screwed joint can be readjusted to make the cable shears precise and smooth-running, the company added.
