Schlüter-Systems this month unveiled its modernised gallery and education area ahead of new installer solutions to waterproofing.
During a guided tour of the Coalville facility, the company demonstrated its KERDI boards used for waterproofing bathrooms. Its under-tile heating membranes were also showcased to visitors.
The new training zone included how to fit backer board, waterproofing membrane, underfloor heating, and utilising peel and stick innovations.
Joachim Backes, UK MD of Schlüter-Systems, said: “In today’s rapidly evolving world where AI, continued learning and upskilling on how to practically install our solutions with natural stone and tile are now more critical than ever, and that’s precisely what the Schlüter gallery represents.
“We are not only celebrating 30 years of Schlüter but also the opening of our new education premises. Our education centre is not just a building – it is a testament to our belief in the power of education and a commitment to nurturing practical and theoretical skills in our industry for times to come. It will enable us to welcome even more customers to our training courses where they can gain full understanding of our offerings through a blend of both theory and hands-on training.”
Schlüter-Systems is expected to reveal more details of its installer offering during this week’s Installer Show in Birmingham (25-27 June).
The company’s new 980 sqm extension at Coalville, Leicestershire, includes a gallery with 24 displays, a training facility and 682 sqm of warehouse space along with administrative support offices.
