Navigator MSL organised a charity golf day for customers and clients at nearby Pavenham Golf Club near Bedford.
The event was planned to raise funds for SANDS, raising more than £2,370 for the cause.
A company statement said that SANDS exists to reduce the number of babies dying and to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, before, during or shortly after birth, whenever this happened and for as long as they need support.
SANDS stated that currently in the UK, 13 families a day suffer the heartbreak of losing their baby before, during or shortly after birth. That’s around 4,500 babies a year.
Andrew Smith, managing director of Navigator MSL, said: “It was a wonderful event, well organised and a pleasure to be part of. We have rightly developed a reputation for raising funds for charities at this company and this – our first ever golf day – has added to that reputation with some exceptional work by the Navigator team to pull the event together.
“We’re more than pleased to be able to donate a sizeable sum to the SANDS charity and look forward to the next charity fund raising event within the business.”
