Arctic Hayes has updated its Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) related to its Pipe Freeze products and released a video to guide users through the effective use of its range of freeze kits.

The updated FAQ section on the Arctic Hayes website now covers a broader range of topics, addressing both general usage and specific product details. A company statement said that the refresh includes answers to common queries such as the appropriate steps to ensure a successful pipe freeze, the types of pipes that can be frozen and the specific conditions under which the freeze kits operate best.

The updated FAQ also delves into product-specific questions, such as the capabilities of Arctic Hayes’ ZE1 and ZE2 freeze kits, it noted, which are designed to freeze pipes of varying materials and sizes. The FAQs clarify that while these kits are primarily intended for copper pipes, additional product and time may be required for other materials like plastic or steel.

Alongside the updated FAQs, Arctic Hayes has produced a new instructional video that visually demonstrates the correct use of its pipe freezing kits. The company said that its new video breaks down the freezing process into easy-to-follow steps, from setting up the equipment to safely completing the job without the need to drain down the system.

Arctic Hayes has also introduced the “Freeze Selector” tool on its website. This intuitive selector helps plumbing and heating professionals identify the most suitable freeze kit for their specific application, the company noted. Whether the job involves domestic, commercial or industrial pipework, the tool simplifies the decision-making process by narrowing down the options based on the pipe size and the nature of the task at hand, it cited.
