In celebration of September Clean-Up month, Talon Manufacturing held its “Shine Day,” a company-wide event dedicated to tidying and decluttering the workplace environment.
According to Talon, the focus was on collaboration, with everyone encouraged to participate in “sprucing up” their workspaces, offices and communal areas.
Talon introduced a series of hidden surprises and prizes. The company said that staff members who contributed to the clean-up effort were rewarded with sweet treats, handed out as instant prizes for efforts that stood out. Hidden raffle tickets were also scattered around the premises. Staff who found these tickets earned entries into the day’s prize draw.
Curt Ingram, operations director, said: “Shine Day is about taking pride in our shared spaces, fostering teamwork, and showing our appreciation for the incredible people we work with every day. At Talon, we believe that creating an enjoyable work environment is key to productivity and employee satisfaction and Shine Day has been a perfect reflection of that.”
