Stelrad Group has announced that it has joined the United Nations (UN) Global Compact initiative.
According to a statement, the UN Global Compact is “a call to companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”.
The voluntary initiative has more than 20,000 companies based in over 160 countries, and more than 60 Global Compact Networks, the statement added.
Trevor Harvey, Stelrad’s chief executive, said: “In line with our commitment to these principles, Stelrad Group plc is proud to add our support to this important organisation.
“As a participant of the initiative, we encourage you to visit our profile on the UN Global Compact website and learn more about our latest sustainability work.”
