The Energy and Utilities Alliance (EUA) has released the Q4 edition of the EUA Quarterly Update which gives a summary of stakeholder activity between October and December 2024.
According to the update, October saw the return of parliamentary events which had been “somewhat lacking” since 2023 with much of 2024 focused on the General Election.
The EUA said it has been building good links with both DESNZ Ministers and the Shadow DESNZ Ministerial team and that it looks forward to continuing these.
November saw good engagement with the Energy Security and Net Zero Committee, it noted, including helping to set their agenda for this coming year. In December, Mike Foster appeared in front of the ESNZ Committee for its ‘Heating our homes’ inquiry.
In total, 2024 saw the EUA attend 58 external events and respond to 17 consultations.
