The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI) has announced a new date for its recently postponed Annual Conference as Tuesday 16 September 2025.
Originally scheduled for 4 February 2025, the decision to postpone the event was in order to support BiKBBI to continue its work with government on the subject of trade competencies. A statement said that the date change will “enable the institute to provide the industry with a meaningful update at a more appropriate time in the proceedings”, ensuring the BiKBBI Annual Conference remains both “valuable and impactful for attendees”.
Damian Walters, pictured, BiKBBI CEO, said: “It was a difficult decision to make but we believe that the BiKBBI Conference programme, and the impact it will have on the industry, will be significantly enhanced if we hold off until the exciting, industry-changing projects that we are currently working on are more developed.
“We understand that the change may have been disappointing for some, especially as many of those attending the BiKBBI Awards of the 4 February usually join the conference, but we promise it will be worth the wait.”
Along with the announcement of the new date, BiKBBI has also confirmed that the location of the venue will change too, with more information to come in the next few weeks.
The BiKBBI Awards 2025 is unaffected by the conference date change and will go ahead as planned on Tuesday 4 February 2025 at the QEII Centre in London.
