JG Speedfit has announced its title sponsorship of the GBmoto Kawasaki team to compete in the 2015 MCE British Superbike Championship season.
With the GBmoto team rapidly progressing through the ranks of the MCE British Superbike Championship, 2014 saw it cement itself as one of the strongest in the country. Now entering its second season as the officially supported Kawasaki entry, the JG Speedfit Kawasaki team, as it will be known, is looking to take another step forward and claim the prestigious title.
Mike Riseley, UK director of sales at JG Speedfit, said:
“We’re really excited to be associated with such a professional and ambitious team as GBmoto and are thoroughly looking forward to joining it on its 2015 BSB title campaign.
“We’ve had a historic association with motorsport, mainly on four wheels, but stepped into the BSB paddock for the first time a couple of years ago sponsoring a team in the British Superstock 1000 Championship. We spent this time evaluating if motorcycle-racing sponsorship had a good affinity with our brand and determined it clearly does in terms of elevating brand awareness and identity, so it was a natural step up to the British Superbike class for 2015.”
JG Speedfit Kawasaki team principal, Mark Smith-Halvorsen, said:
“It’s great news that we have joined forces with JG Speedfit as a new title sponsor for GBmoto Racing – at a time when we are hard preparing for a full on assault on the 2015 BSB title.
“I look forward to not only helping to promote and support its brand, but also to regularly seeing it at the front of the British Superbike series throughout 2015.”
