Heat pump manufacturer, Daikin UK, has enhanced its domestic heating team as the company prepares for what promises to be busy and fruitful 2015.
Having worked at Daikin for the last four years and with over 12 years’ experience in the heating industry, Nancy Jonsson has been appointed commercial director – heating and renewables, with responsibility for growing Daikin’s domestic heating business in the UK.
Meanwhile, Stuart Gadsden has been promoted to product manager with responsibility to ensure that the heating portfolio meets the needs of the growing UK heat pump market.
He is supported by a team of heating product specialists, heating pre-sales technical engineers and a heating trainer.
The company welcomes Joe Heng Tsu and George Kalomoires, who both joined this month to provide sales support on the full range of heating products from heat pumps and hybrid systems, to solar thermal and underfloor heating.
Nancy said:
“With the interest from domestic Renewable Heat Incentive steadily growing, we’ve reinforced the product team to support the increasing heat pump market. Our strategic approach demonstrates our ongoing commitment to this technology sector.
“Our priorities are to encourage greater levels of uptake of heat pumps in off-gas areas to reduce running costs, particularly for the fuel-poor, and to provide support to our installer partners.”
