In recognition of service from a number of its staff and suppliers, Graham Plumbers’ Merchant has announced a number of awards following its recent annual conference at Leeds Armouries.
Awards were presented to nine of its staff members recognising long service, outstanding sales and overall dedication to the business.
Celebrating 40 years with Graham, both Bob Cheyne, from the Bellshill branch, and Mary Cappiello, from Glasgow branch, were presented with long service awards, recognising the commitment made to the business over the years.
Similarly, a number of regional awards were also given out – Chris Quinn, from the Bury branch, was presented with the northern regional award; Duncan Clews, from the Redditch branch, won the midlands regional award; and Kelvin Rudd won the southern regional award, for the Horsham branch.
Graham was also keen to recognise the hard work of the sales team too, with Brian Bathgate, James Derry, Toby Edwards and Robert Thompson all receiving awards.
Supplier awards were also presented to Worcester, Bosch Group for the supplier of the year category, while Wavin was crowned winners of best product availability, Vaillant received the contribution to the knowledge award and Bristan was the winners of the rapid speed of response award, all of which are in line with Graham’s Promise, designed to ensure the best possible service to Graham’s loyal customer base.
Following Graham’s fundraising efforts over the course of the year, Macmillan Cancer Support – Graham’s charity partner, was presented with a cheque for £35,000, with a further £3,000 raised on the night too.
