Airflow Developments has launched the new QuietAir QT150 extractor fan, which already exceeds the requirements of the latest Building Regulations, Approved Document F. An ideal option for kitchens, the new fan is a cost-effective, low energy extraction solution, which offers a powerful performance that is supremely quiet.
The latest addition to the QuietAir range, the QuietAir QT150 is a well-designed axial fan with a discreet, slim profile. It offers a very low Specific Fan Power (SFP) of 0.09 W/l/s, an IP45 rating and particularly suits through-the-wall applications.
With low energy consumption and a room refresh interval timer, which enables automatic extraction at pre-set times if required, the QuietAir QT150 helps to reduce carbon emissions and saves electricity costs. All this with the added benefit of a quiet, noise level, as low as 35 dB(A), outstanding for a fan of this performance.
Designed to suit user requirements, the QuietAir QT150 has the flexibility of different control options with four models in the range: Basic (QT150B), which is controlled by remote switch; Timer (QT150T) that can be set to run on for six,ten,15 or 21 minutes; Humidity (QT150HT), which allows the humidity sensor to be set between 60-90% RH, and a variable speed control version (QT150VS) for ‘on–demand’ levels of extraction.
Offering a three-year warranty, the QuietAir QT150 is engineered with a long life ball-bearing motor, which will give 40,000 hours of powerful extraction, and an integral flow straightener and backdraught flap. A range of accessories is also available including flexible and rigid ducting kits, controls and grilles to suit specification needs.
