Question from Mark Andrews, via e-mail:
What should installers be doing to strengthen their offering in the credit crunch?
Answer from Kelvin Stevens, managing director of PTS:
It is key that installers continue to train during a tough economy. In addition to finding out about products fresh onto the market, installers can learn more about topics such as industry regulations and renewable energy solutions.
This can present opportunities to expand the services offered to end-users and in turn make installers more resistant to the current economic climate. At PTS we have partnered with training supplier OCLI to give our account holders access to discounted courses and all branches are able to recommend the best manufacturer courses.
