Plumb and Parts Center’s network of more than 500 branches are set to become smart controls hubs over the coming months and, to kick-start the initiative, Honeywell and Nest are touring the country to offer hands-on training in every single branch.
From now until January the leading merchant will be hosting trade mornings from 8am-1pm where installers can ask the experts about new technologies as well as receive advice on how to up-sell and introduce the features to their own customers.
Plumb and Parts Center will also be training staff across the network during the tour. Branch staff will complete 12 training modules before being given a working smart controls demo for customers to trial in their local branch.
