I write with concern that, as a gas heating engineer, the thought of us having to do the governments dirty work is scandalous.
They’ll be hitting us with their handbags shoving us out of their homes for asking them personal information, especially when we pass the info on and big companies, like British Gas or that man who thinks he’s done his maths. Just like all the Green Deal offers us sole traders with not much money or savings to set up such a scheme.
So, no I think it should be the carers making a note of a cold home and reporting back to their managers, who get paid to do this kind of work and have the appropriate experience and knowledge on how to approach such a delicate request.
Kind regards
