Rexel UK is to unveil its updated Rexel Innovation Centre at the BRE Innovation Park in Watford – providing customers with a comprehensive snapshot of all the latest energy solutions and technologies from across the globe.
First having a presence in 2011, Rexel’s demonstration development is designed to provide an inspiring insight into the building of tomorrow via the property’s construction and installation of energy efficient products; showing the full scope of product possibilities that can help save energy, cost and reduce carbon footprint.
However, amid the rapid rate of technological advancement in the energy sector, it is vital that the centre is regularly updated in order to provide a true reflection of the international market.
In response, the Rexel team recently embarked on a complete overhaul of the Centre to find the best products and partnering with a number of trusted brands to unveil the latest technology.
Key new additions include a host of incredibly efficient new lighting solutions such as the latest LED lighting from Philips, Osram, GE, Iviti, Megaman/Lightwave and JCC. In addition, visitors will be able to test the latest lighting controls from Wirefield and home energy monitoring from Smappee and Nest.
In terms of energy efficient products, Rolec’s EV charging solutions will be on show, in addition to showcasing smart modules by Trina and very soon, battery storage too.
With its official launch date on February 24, the newly updated Centre is now divided into a huge 21 product areas, and includes a host of interactive displays to help demonstrate product features and benefits. This enables visitors to make an informed choice when selecting products that can maximise energy efficiency of buildings.
Steve Everard, head of Rexel Energy Solutions UK, said: “In such a rapidly evolving industry, it can be difficult to stay up-to-date with the latest technology and make informed decisions to select the correct solutions. Our Innovation Centre at BRE aims to combat this, enabling visitors to make smart choices whether it be for a domestic, commercial or industrial property.”
