ADEY and Forest Green Rovers team up

Forest Green Rovers has formed a new community partnership with water treatment manufacturer ADEY.

ADEY has pledged its support for FGR Community, which was aiming “to motivate, inspire and educate through football”.

Forest Green is the world’s first and only vegan football club and the first to be certified carbon neutral by the United Nations.

Matthew Webber, ADEY’s CEO, said: “This is a hugely exciting partnership for us and the whole team is looking forward to working with the club and getting involved as much as possible. There is a lot of synergy with ADEY and the work FGR Community is doing. Not only around sustainability and carbon reduction, but acknowledging the impact organisations can, and should, now be having on their communities and the people that live there.

“Like FGR, we’re a Gloucestershire business with a global reach, and while the sectors we operate in couldn’t be more different, we share a passion to create a more sustainable planet to live on and support the community. The home and buildings are the second largest contributor to carbon emissions in the world. Working alongside plumbing and heating engineers across the globe, our products are used to improve the efficiency of central heating systems, helping to reduce the amount of carbon released into the atmosphere, extending the life of boilers and saving the homeowner money in energy bills. Our aim is to work with FGR Community to spread the message and ultimately have a positive impact on people’s lives.”
