Arctic Hayes has achieved ISO14001 accreditation.
The company said that achieving ISO14001 status, especially after having attained ISO 9001 in 2004, illustrates its comprehensive approach to quality and environmental management, aligning with the standards set by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).
Karl Dallimore, managing director of Arctic Hayes, said: “This accreditation was achieved through diligent efforts and under the guidance of the late John Thornton, our dedicated quality assurance manager.
“John’s expertise and commitment over nearly six years with Arctic Hayes, were instrumental in steering the business towards this notable accomplishment. His contributions extended beyond ISO accreditation, offering unwavering product support to the team and to countless customers both in the UK and internationally. He was pivotal in our ISO accreditation process, without which, we would have not been able to meet this standard.”
The ISO14001 standard is designed to help organisations develop a systematic approach to environmental management, according to a statement. It provides a framework for organisations to protect the environment, respond to changing environmental conditions and integrate sustainability with business operations, the company noted.
