Coram UK has announced its ISO14001:2015 recertification.
The bathroom manufacturer stated that it is “proud to have once again achieved the Environmental Management System (EMS) Standard in recognition of environmental sustainability and commitment to compliance”.
ISO 14001 is the internationally recognised standard for environmental management systems. According to a statement, it provides a framework for organisations to design and implement an EMS, and continually improve their environmental performance.
Coram UK is home to Impey, Coram Showers, Sealskin, Tiger and Geesa brands. The company has been ISO14001 certified for over 14 years.
Paul Gatfield, head of manufacturing, said: “Coram UK has embedded a strong culture with regards to environmental and sustainable issues. I believe we are now at a stage where we can consider how we take this to the next level.
“The production team is extremely positive and driven to work environmental and sustainable benefits into our product portfolio and the associated design and manufacturing ethics.
“We are incredibly pleased to have completed our recertification of ISO14001:2015 with no nonconformities. I would like to thank everyone across the business who has worked incredibly hard towards our continued improvement and ongoing success when it comes to compliance, environmental and sustainability issues.”
