CT1 has become a corporate partner of Band of Builders (BoB), supporting the charity in its goal to help tradespeople battling illness or injury.
The company has seen the work that BoB does on projects across the UK and wanted to throw its support behind the charity.
Nicola Walsh, CT1’s director of sales and marketing, said: “We are passionate about making a best-of-British product that helps British tradespeople – and we are equally committed to supporting a range of UK projects and charities at a local level. But the time has come for our business to take our support to the next stage and Band of Builders embodies everything that’s amazing about the UK construction industry.
“The charity is very close to our hearts, and we want to use our voice in the industry to bring attention to the stories and plight of tradespeople who have found themselves in life-changing circumstances and need help.
“Tradespeople are often forgotten, being self-employed. They encounter daily struggles and often risk their health and lives attending to certain jobs. Those of us working in or supplying the building industry should try to help our fellow tradespeople in any way we can. We salute you BoB and are proud to be part of a growing movement in the construction industry that is a force for good.”
Gavin Crane, BoB’s CEO, added: “We only exist because of the support and commitment of the 50,000 plus supporters of our charity, who volunteer, raise much-needed funds and represent us at events, as well as engage in a host of other activities that enable BoB to deliver projects.
“And there’s the corporate support from businesses and organisations right across the construction industry, which are so, so generous in the help they provide – and we are proud to welcome the team at CT1 into our community.
“Nicola and the team have already offered amazing support, but CT1 becoming a corporate partner really helps to strengthen our bond – meaning we can strive to be even more ambitious in our mission to support tradespeople and their families who are experiencing life-changing or life-limiting circumstances.”
