Fergus has announced the appointment of Mark Bartels as its new chief executive officer (CEO). He is based at the company’s head office in Sydney, Australia.
According to a company statement, Mark brings experience in scaling software and payment companies, particularly those serving small businesses.
Previously, Mark served as chief financial officer (CFO) at Ignition, a client engagement and commerce platform.
Mark said: “I am excited to lead Fergus when the demand for quality and reliable tradies, such as those in plumbing and electrical, is skyrocketing globally. The company has a growing and loyal customer base, and I see tremendous potential for growth and innovation in this software vertical.
