Grohe was a Silver Sponsor for this year’s WorldSkills competition, which took place this year in Lyon, France, from 10 to 15 September.
The company supported the organisation of the competition for Plumbing and Heating and provided products for installation.
Weilong Sun from China won out of 25 peers to become the current World Champion in Plumbing and Heating. Ruben Duggan from the UK was crowned runner-up and awarded the silver medal.
Ruben said: “This accomplishment is a huge milestone for me having been competing in competitions for over five years now; all leading up to this fantastic final week. I’m incredibly grateful for the support and encouragement I’ve received, and to have had the opportunity to compete against such talented professionals. I can’t wait to build on this experience and continue pushing the boundaries in the plumbing and heating industry.”
