Following its recent promotion to the English Football League, Harrogate Town AFC has announced EnviroVent as its major sponsor for the 2020/2021 season and unveiled The EnviroVent stadium.
The ventilation company has sponsored a stand at the club for the past seven seasons and this extension was described as a longer-term commitment to supporting the club.
EnviroVent’s managing director Andy Makin, pictured right, said: “It was wonderful to see Harrogate Town AFC win the national league play-off final at Wembley and this has given the town a huge lift.
“We are delighted to extend our sponsorship of the club and obtain the naming rights. 2020 has proven a very challenging year for many. We see our extended sponsorship as a way of highlighting the longer-term optimism we believe and feel for our business, our club and our town once the current challenges we have all experienced have faded. Simon and the players have come a very long way in recent times and have achieved so much in being promoted to the EFL this season culminating with their historic win at Wembley. The club is an important pillar of the local community and it’s an honour to be able to extend our part in its journey at this incredible time.”
Since winning a place in the EFL, the club is replacing its artificial pitch with grass in keeping with League regulations. Its new Main Stand was also recently constructed with close to 1,000 seats added, boosting the stadium capacity to 5,000.
Gary Plant, left, managing director at Harrogate Town, said: “We would like to thank EnviroVent for their continued support and look forward to working to make them proud.”
