LPG heating installers nationwide are encouraged to get on board with Calor’s 2018 Rural Community Fund campaign.
Established in 2017, the Calor Rural Community Fund aims to give rural communities the chance to gain funding for projects that will improve local life.
This year the campaign is going national across the UK, with a total fund of £50,000 and with 21 individual prize pots available.
Paul Blacklock, head of corporate affairs, said: “This year’s Calor Rural Community Fund is the perfect conversation starter for LPG installers wishing to engage with rural communities.
“The campaign is open to all off-grid projects, from community centres, village halls and sporting venues, to initiatives to support local schoolchildren and the elderly.
“Project applications are to be made via the Calor website, which will open for entries on March 20, 2018, for six weeks. National community action groups, Business in the Community and Rural England will also be joining the judging panel, giving the campaign further support.”
