Ideal Heating is calling on installers to ‘Inspect Your Toolkit’ in a campaign to raise awareness of testicular cancer.
The company has worked with OddBalls to design a pair of limited-edition underwear that will be given away exclusively at the Installer Show, while stocks last.
With the vast majority of the UK heating industry’s 120,000 registered installers being men, Ideal Heating said it believes testicular cancer is an important issue for the business to raise awareness of.
The OddBalls Foundation is a charity that seeks to raise awareness of testicular cancer and promote male health nationally and internationally.
Luke Pykett, head of brand marketing for Ideal Heating, said: “This campaign is our way of raising awareness of testicular cancer and helping to prevent unnecessary deaths by early detection.
“Regular self-examination is the most common form of early detection and only takes a minute but is something that many men still don’t do.
“It’s an incredibly important issue, but we’re having a little bit of fun with the giveaway to installers to bring it to their attention and encourage them to engage with the campaign.”
