
Emerson has entered into an agreement to sell the InSinkErator business to Whirlpool Corporation for $3 billion, with the transaction expected to complete during the final quarter of 2022.
InSinkErator inventor of food waste disposers, and a major player in the specialist kitchen tap market, was founded in 1938 and acquired by Emerson in 1968.
The InSinkErator portfolio also boasts a collection of specialist kitchen taps.
