Property services business Liberty has secured three new contracts worth up to £32 million over the next ten years.
In its biggest contract win to date by number of properties, Liberty will deliver servicing and repairs and maintenance of heating systems for 22,000 homes on behalf of Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council.
Worth up to £7.2 million over six years, this work will include call out maintenance, servicing and repairs for all wet central heating, warm air and hot water systems as well as electric fire suites and other gas and solid fuel appliances, including homes with air source heat pumps, a statement outlined.
Liberty has also secured a contract worth up to £22 million with mhs homes to carry out heating system servicing and repairs and installation works on tenant’s homes and commercial properties in Kent. The contract is for five years with options to extend the term up to a maximum an additional five years.
Its third contract win is with East Devon District Homes. The contract worth £3 million over 10 years will see the firm delivering similar works covering homes and commercial properties.
Ray Jones, group managing director of Liberty, said: “It’s been a great start to the year for Liberty, with these new contract wins building on three new repair and maintenance contracts that we have already announced so far this year.
“I’m delighted that we have been able to achieve such strong growth in the face of a challenging economic climate. These latest contract wins build on the strong foundations we have as a business. Our people-focused, intelligence-driven property services put tenants at the heart of our approach, delivering better outcomes for clients.
“We’re excited to be working with Wigan Council, mhs homes and East Devon District Council and Advantage South West to deliver a wide range of work to keep their tenants safe, secure and warm in their homes.”
