Mark Vitow has launched its latest initiative, “Walk All Over Cancer with Mark Vitow”, in aid of Cancer Research UK.
The fundraising campaign aims to raise vital funds for cancer research while promoting physical activity and community involvement, a statement said.
Throughout the month of March, participants are encouraged to commit to walking 10,000 steps every day as part of the Cancer Research UK “Walk All Over Cancer” challenge. Mark Vitow said that by joining this initiative individuals have the opportunity to honour those affected by cancer while actively contributing to fundraising efforts.
All funds raised by participants will contribute to a collective donation to Cancer Research UK.
Mark Vitow stated that donations are also welcome via the Team Fundraising Page for those who are unable to commit to the walk. Click here to donate.
Matthew Phillips, CEO of Mark Vitow, said: “In 2023, Mark Vitow launched its PositivePlumbing initiative with the aim of leading and inspiring the industry in having a positive impact on the world. Under the PositivePlumbing initiative we chose to partner with Cancer Research UK, a charity very close to our hearts.
“I’m incredibly proud to have been joined by a number of colleagues for a charity abseil which raised £5,000 last year and I hope the industry will support us in bettering this with our Walk All Over Cancer this March. Go Team Vitow!”
