Mitsubishi Electric app

Mitsubishi Electric has announced the launch of a new augmented reality (AR) app designed to assist households in visualising an Ecodan air source heat pump in their home before buying.

A company statement said that the tool allows users to see how a heat pump will fit in their space, helping them make informed decisions about placement and installation.

The new AR app offers homeowners the ability to:

  • See how a heat pump fits in their home before purchasing
  • Adjust placement to find the best location for installation
  • Understand the size, shape, and impact of the unit in a space
  • View product information and watch an educational video on how a heat pump works

Joanna Crown, product marketing manager at Mitsubishi Electric, said: “We are excited to introduce this cutting-edge augmented reality app, which will help households visualise their investment in renewable heating technology.

“By using AR, we are making it easier than ever for households to understand the benefits of an air source heat pump, simplifying the decision-making process, ensuring that they have all the information needed to choose the best place for an Ecodan in their home.”
