The Navigator MSL team has reached its target of raising £1,000 for Kids in Action Bedfordshire.
Team members Hannah Salton, Tom Smith and Olivia Withers recently presented a big cheque to the Kids in Action Bedfordshire team for £1,030 to support the activities the charity undertakes in the county.
According to a statement, Kids in Action provides a safe and supportive space for children, young adults and adults with disabilities. It offers a variety of activities in sensory rooms, disco rooms and a cinema. The money raised is to help the charity to continue its vital work and support them throughout the rising cost-of-living situation, it noted.
Andrew Smith, Navigator MSL’s managing director, said: “A company thrives because of the quality of its employees and we are blessed to have a team of people willing to give of their time and resources to help locally based charities that are struggling for funds at this difficult time.
“As a business we are pleased to support their efforts and acknowledge the efforts that they make to help people less fortunate than themselves.”
The next charity fundraising event on the schedule is a company golf day taking place on 13 June at Pavenham Golf Club in aid of Sands – Saving babies’ lives, which supports bereaved families.
