Octopus Energy hosted its first-ever Octopus Trusted Partners Awards on 3 April at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
The awards celebrate companies installing heat pumps, solar panels and other clean technologies for Octopus Energy customers.
The Octopus Trusted Partners programme launched last year to accelerate the rollout of heat pumps and solar energy across the UK, the company said.
Greg Jackson, founder of Octopus Energy, said: “We have government targets of 600,000 heat pumps to install by 2028 and solar energy produced at home is becoming an increasing necessity for energy security. Add to that a deadline to hit net zero home emissions in the UK and the Octopus Trusted Partner programme has never been so vital.
“We’re delighted to have over 650 companies registered, and Octopus has referred 50,000 customers to Octopus Trusted Partners in the last 12 months. By working together, we’re ensuring more money-saving tech is installed in people’s homes faster. Congratulations to all our winners, who are leading the way in making homes greener and cheaper to run.”
