Evesham-based Plumbworld has announced winning an industry award and being shortlisted by the Sunday Times as ‘one to watch’.
The online retailer said it was now preparing for further growth in 2021 on the back of “a record-breaking 2020 which has seen best ever results across all digital channels”.
Plumbworld also landed the ‘From Little to Large’ trophy at the 2020 eBay for Business Awards. On the eBay platform its revenues have grown from £100,000 a month in 2017 to now over £1.2 million per month.
Nick Dunkley, trading manager at Plumbworld, said: “With the global pandemic, we’re finding that buyers are spending more time at home, they’re bringing their renovation projects forward and we’ve seen a huge increase in sales.
“I’m proud of the fact that we’ve grown this from something relatively small to the size it is now. To win this award is nice recognition for everyone in the Plumbworld team.”
