Panasonic is to become the ‘Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Provider’ for Espai Barça for four seasons up to 30 June 2028, as it signs a new sponsorship agreement with FC Barcelona.
Espai Barça is a project in the sports and entertainment industry, which includes the refurbishment of the Spotify Camp Nou, a sports complex located in the centre of Barcelona.
According to a company statement, as part of the sponsorship programme associated with the future Spotify Camp Nou, this agreement will see Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions provide sustainable heating, ventilation and air conditioning solutions, with air purification and heat pump systems for each space. Furthermore, heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment will be used in the technical areas, it added, such as rooms containing the servers and for broadcasting games, where device reliability and quality was deemed essential.

Joan Laporta, FC Barcelona’s president, added: “The alliance with Panasonic demonstrates the Club’s willingness to equip the Spotify Camp Nou with the highest quality technology in the market, with the comfort of every member and fan visiting the stadium in mind so they can enjoy a match day in the refurbished installation. This agreement with Panasonic will mean every space is as comfortable as possible for the best possible enjoyment of the matchday experience.”
