Parts Center has launched Parts Direct, a direct to customer, UK-wide delivery service.
Available from all Plumb and Parts Center branches, or via the call centre, Parts Direct offers customers next day delivery on a range of 35,000 parts.
Parts can be delivered to any UK mainland address, so installers can get what they need, when they need it and sent directly to the site they’re working on.
All parts are eligible for next day delivery (UK mainland only) if orders are placed before 8pm Monday to Friday, and before 5pm and 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
The service operates on a next day delivery basis with three different tariffs available; the £5 standard delivery option gets the installer their parts by 5pm next day; the £10 Express Saver option by midday; and the £15 Express option by 10.30am. Customer’s first order will be free of charge.
A Parts Identification System means that Parts Direct customers will always get exactly what they ordered.
Plumb and Parts sales director, Colin McGregor, said: “We’re really excited about what Parts Direct can do for our customers.
“We want to make sure that installers can focus on their job instead of costs, so for the first three months, they won’t pay anything on orders over £200.”
Customers ordering from the Highlands and Northern Ireland are only eligible for 48 hour delivery, and those in the north of Scotland and not on the mainland can receive stock in three to five working days.
