Plumbing, heating and bathroom buying group PHG hosted the PHG Supplier Awards at the Carden Park Hotel in Chester earlier this month.
Following a day of golfing, track driving and outdoor team building activities, the awards celebrated and recognise excellence in the plumbing, heating and bathroom industry.
Over 249 guests from the plumbing, heating and bathroom sector attended the event, including 191 supplier representatives joined by 58 PHG representatives.
The event is one of the largest independent gatherings of plumbing, heating & bathroom suppliers and independent merchants in the industry. PHG now has 16 members operating out of 287 branches in the UK.
The awards were hosted by David Pochin, chairman at PHG, with Imex winning the PHG Innovation Award, Roper Rhodes awarded the PHG Instinct Supplier of the Year, STH Westco the PHG Plumbing Supplier of the Year, Heritage Bathrooms the PHG Bathroom Supplier of the Year, Ideal Heating the PHG Heating Supplier of the Year and Roper Rhodes the PHG Overall Supplier of the Year.
David Pochin, chairman at PHG said: “After the postponements of the previous two years it was a great opportunity for the PHG members and suppliers to get together over the two days to renew relationships, enjoy the activities, and celebrate the awards.”
To conclude the evening, Angus Fraser, former England Cricketer and Middlesex CCC Captain provided an after-dinner speech.
