Plumbase has improved its 24-hour spares service by extending the time for next day delivery orders by an additional hour. The extra time will allow installers more flexibility when it comes to placing orders of vital spare parts outside of core trading hours.
The 60 extra minutes will come as welcome news for professional heating engineers across the country during the busy winter period.
Now, heating engineers placing orders before 7:30pm will be given the option of having spares delivered either to a local branch or a specified home address the next day.
Those ordering after 7:30pm will be delivered the subsequent working day, and orders placed for branch collection after 8:30pm will be recorded, processed and stock checked first thing the next morning before the customer is contacted to pick-up the collection.
Genuine spares ordered through Plumbase can also be delivered to ‘spare point’ locations nationwide. When using the spare point service, Installers can pick the order up from early as 7am the next day when ordered before 7.30pm.
