Registrations are still open for the Water Matters virtual conference which takes place on 13 April. The conference, which is hosted by the Unified Water Label, will explore how the bathroom industry can work together, to better inform customers about using water efficiently.
The event includes a panel discussion with representatives from different sectors of the bathroom industry across Europe. The speakers include Spanish architect Carolina González, Jőrg Rudolph from German-Swiss company Neoperl that offers innovative solutions regarding drinking water for the plumbing industry, Brian Horne from the European energy efficiency project ‘HACKS’ (Heating and Cooling Knowhow Solutions) and Jane Blakeborough from Trend Monitors.
Global home furnishing brand IKEA and German DIY retailer Globus will also give presentations, which will cover how they are communicating the Unified Water Label in their sectors, what tools or channels work best, and how they are using innovation to help them meet their environmental objectives.
UWLA MD Yvonne Orgill said: “The time is right to bring together different sectors of our industry to discuss how they are communicating the benefits of using innovative water efficient products, for the benefit of the planet. There is a renewed awareness amongst governments and consumers that climate change should be taken seriously, and with the Unified Water Label gaining ground across Europe, there is much to be gained from sharing experiences.
“We are excited to bring this event on-line, offering the opportunity for more people to join us, encouraging everyone to do a little so that together we can achieve a lot.”
