A new report has named Screwfix as the ‘market leader for brand awareness’ within the online UK trade plumbing sector.
Salience Search Marketing said its online UK trade plumbing sector report identifies market leaders in the UK trade plumbing industry based on consumer familiarity with the brand through online searches or social media interactions.
By merging branded search metrics with social media performance, it noted, the report determines which brands stand out across various channels, offering insights into their overall prominence in the market.
Screwfix was identified as the top brand in the UK Trade Plumbing Report 2024, with 5 million monthly brand searches and an owned social score of 783.
Wickes follows with over 1.8 million monthly brand searches and an owned social score of 557, according to Salience.
Toolstation sees over 2.2 million brand searches per month and an owned social score of 283, the research found.
With over 300,000 monthly brand searches and an owned social score of 262, Victorian Plumbing was also among the brands monitored by Salience.
