Seven employees from Saniflo UK have raised more than £6,000 for Cancer Research UK after cycling 220 miles from London to Paris in three days.
The team, comprising managing director Tim Pestell, Lucy Reeves, Cheryl Samuel, Nick Quarterone, Martin Mercer and Graham Davies supported by John L’Erario, who drove the van carrying everything the team might need, set off from the company’s UK headquarters in South Ruislip on June 25 and arrived at SFA Group’s global headquarters in Paris on June 28.
Tim said: “It’s not the first time we’ve completed this bike ride from Ruislip to Paris to raise money for Cancer Research UK. This year was extra special as we remembered Saniflo UK’s former managing director, Paul Newson, who passed away in January 2014 after a seven-year battle with cancer. We’re delighted to have surpassed our £6,000 target and we thank everyone who donated.”
