Showerwall has announced that through its second annual collaboration with The Pink Ribbon Foundation it has raised over £5,800 for the breast cancer charity.
The three-month campaign concluded in December 2023, raising a total of £5,870, from donations made with the sale of every acrylic panel featuring the colour pink.
A statement said the fundraising forms part of Showerwall’s ongoing commitment to The Pink Ribbon Foundation. The foundation provides funding to UK charities supporting those living with or affected by breast cancer, alongside those involved in research into early detection and treatment of the disease.
Steph Harris, Showerwall’s product manager, said: “We are thrilled to not only collaborate with the Pink Ribbon Foundation once more to raise awareness of this fantastic cause, but to exceed the fundraising total from our first year of partnership. The charity’s efforts in supporting those affected by breast cancer and contributing to research are truly inspiring.
“We are grateful to all those retailers and customers who have supported through purchasing our panels featuring pink. Working with the Pink Ribbon Foundation continues to be an incredible experience and we look forward to a long-term partnership.”
Lisa Allen, Pink Ribbon Foundation’s head of corporate partnerships, PR and events, added: “We have enjoyed working with the team at Showerwall for the last 2 years, to raise awareness and money for those affected by breast cancer. Our joint initiatives have been very well received by all concerned and have raised vital awareness of the cause and the Pink Ribbon Foundation, whilst raising funds to support front line services across the UK.
“We very much look forward to growing our partnerships in the future, so that together we may help more women (and a smaller percentage of men) living with a breast cancer diagnosis.”
