Designer, manufacturer and distributer of sanitary equipment, SIAMP UK, has opened new state-of-the-art warehouse and office facilities in Stockport.
The company said it has seen sales double in the space of six years.
SIAMP has a presence in five continents, including its headquarters in Monaco and a sales subsidiary here in the UK.
Thierry Leroy, CEO of SIAMP, attended the official opening of the new Stockport site on Wednesday 6th April alongside managing director of SIAMP UK Ashley Shires, front left.
Ashley said: “It has been an extremely exciting and rewarding day for the SIAMP team here in the UK, and it has been a pleasure having Thierry here to cut the red ribbon.
“With our sales doubling over the last six years at our Oldham site, we had outgrown our facilities and a move was vital to continue that growth.
“The move has doubled the capacity of our stock holding from 300 to 600 pallet locations, with the increased warehouse space allowing us to run more efficiently and giving us a better stock holding, which has been particularly helpful in the current climate, with more on-time and in-full deliveries.”
The new base, located just off Junction 27 of the M60, has office and warehouse facilities, plus self-contained yard and parking space for 15 cars.
